More choice for Sheltered Housing tenants

From today Camden council’s sheltered housing customers can reap the benefits of choice based lettings in partnership with Home Connections and Camden Council. Sheltered Housing tenants, who may need more care or assistance, now have all the benefits of Choice Based Lettings, allowing them the freedom and opportunity to choose, bid for and view properties themselves.

We have created a number of virtual tours for the schemes which bring the properties direct to them through their web browser saving them time money and energy on wasted visits. We believe this will be a popular and effective service judging by the comments from the user group who road tested the proposals. This will prove to be a great advantage to these particular tenants, who sometimes have mobility issues.
